About Me:
I graduated from Animation Mentor in January 2009 and immediately jumped into the last 2 months of production on Ice Age 3 at Blue Sky Studios. I was a temporary animator on the film and learned more than I ever could have imagined.
I'm an incredibly optimistic and hard working individual. I fell in love with animation when I was 7 years old, back when Toy Story was first released. I grew up loving all of the classic Disney movies and knew from a very early age that I wanted to be a part of it. I've always had a creative side and took 9 years of both violin and fiddle lessons. I also participated heavily in the audio/video club throughout high school where I learned a great deal about film production. During that time I helped put together 3 video yearbooks, was a videographer for a wedding, and worked on a PSA commercial that aired locally on Comcast. I taught myself how to animate for my senior project by reading many books and internet forums. After graduating from high school I took one year of nothing but fine art courses at community college. I took numerous figure drawing classes and began to just draw, draw, draw ... I then found myself enrolling with Animation Mentor (one of the best decisions of my life)! I held down a part time job during my time at school and worked as an Assistant Manager/Projectionist for 2 years at Regal Cinemas.
I'm currently available for employment and willing to relocate.
